I just wrapped up a branding project for a new women’s wellness website. The site’s main focus is teaching women how to take the time to pamper & love themselves when everything in life seems so busy/demanding. Basically, right up my alley. The site isn’t live yet, so here’s a little peek into the branding.
This is the moodboard we landed on after talking through all Joe’s ideas about her goals for the site, her ideal reader, the vibe she wanted & more. We wanted something clean & classic with a bit of a wellness/spa feeling. But I didn’t want it to become too stuffy or traditional, so a few modern touches were added in here and there. I was really drawn to this dusty lilac color as a base for our color palette, and love how to turned out with the full branding.
One of the main focuses within this project was creating templates for Joe to use and keep the branding super consistent. I designed a blog post graphic, some Instagram templates, Pinterest templates and more.
I always design 4 pieces of collateral with each branding client, and we make sure to figure out what would be the most beneficial for that specific business. There’s no use in designing something that you’ll never use (ie. business cards) if we could spent time creating more value through something else. It’s one of my favorite parts of the design process!
Let me know what you think! I can’t wait to see the site launch and the whole brand in action.
