Making moodboards is possibly my favorite part of every project I work on. Pulling together a bunch of inspiring images to develop a color palette, a mood, a greater idea. It’s something I’ve always loved and do as much as possible. So, yes, I’m that person who makes a moodboard for my house every time I move.
Aaron and I are moving apartments next week (literally just up 3 floors, in an effort to have a unit with more light. The apartment comes furnished and unfortunately it’s a bit ugly. So I’ve been brainstorming DIYs and projects and decor I can add to make the space feel a bit more homey and my style.
As you can see from the moodboard (and my Pinterest) I’m very much into neutrals colors, bohemian accents, natural elements and PLANTS. I want to add sheer curtains to every window (taking down the ugly blinds), create a few cute shelves & hooks for hanging, work on actually adding artwork + decor to the walls and create more designated spots for houseplants. Nothing too big or crazy, but I’m hoping these little accents will make the place feel like a proper adult apartment for a married couple!
